Your life without a computer: what does it look like?

Today’s writing prompt asked: “Your life without a computer: what does it look like?”
For me, it honestly wouldn’t look that different.
I already spend hours every day outside—rucking with a weighted vest, working in the Texas sun, and taking on the kind of physical challenges that don’t require a screen. The sunshine doesn’t bother me, the heat doesn’t bother me—I thrive in it.
The biggest shift wouldn’t be lifestyle, it’d be economic. Computers are how I connect with people, drum up new pool business, and share my fitness projects online. They’re also how I built Rucking.pro, where I created a calorie calculator that helps people quickly track the effort they put into their rucks.
So for me, computers aren’t an escape from the outdoors—they’re a bridge. I use them to spread the very experiences most people don’t get to see from behind their desks: sunsets, trails, sweat, and progress.
The trick isn’t giving up the computer. The trick is balance—spending real time outside, while making the time inside more efficient, intentional, and meaningful.
